Subject: [ExI] When will the singularity happen?
There's a lot of disagreement about when the singularity will happen so I did a little research to find some quotes … And that's turning out to be true.”

OK good, this gives us a basis for nomenclature for a number of concepts I am pondering, such as a direction axis and a velocity axis.
If one is an S-alpha 1 and a year from now thinks the singularity is still one year off, then the date for the singularity (from that person’s point of view) we can call calendarwise. If a person is an S-alpha 3 and a year from now is an S-alpha 1, then that person predicts a singularity which is becoming sooner. Let us call that person counter-calendarwise. The alpha3 who is an alpha2 a year later is a… calendarless? Calendarity?
With a direction axis we need a velocity axis. If one is a beta 4, then a year later is a beta2, the predicted date moved one year countercalendar in one year, so the velocity is 1. If that guy is a beta1 a year later, the velocity is 2.
My spinny dials are still spinning on this.
