*Nobody can pinpoint the exact day a quantum computer capable of running
Shor’s algorithm will become operational, but we can be certain that the
day of cryptocurrency panic will happen before that computer comes into
existence.  How much before? Nobody knows, it might be days it might be
months it might be years. Are you reasonably certain you will be able to
pinpoint the exact date that  cryptocurrency panic explodes across the
world before other people can, and thus you can wait until the last second
to sell? If not then I think you'd be wise to stay away from Bitcoin and
any other cryptocurrency.   *
