Hey cool: Adrian and John, write a scholarly paper about how Shor's algorithm on a quantum computer could crack BitCoin's security, sell short a bunch of BitCoins, invite the press to attend your presentation, big panicky article appears in the mainstream press, BC-holding proles chicken out and sell like crazy, BC price drops, cover your shorts, use the profit to buy a bunch more BCs, wait for the press to realize the quantum processors are not there yet, price goes back up, you make a buttload.
