Take it up with Turley and others John.

Heck if I know, I don’t read it. I flatly refuse to pay for any particular wing media, for all the media across the spectrum has a universal flaw: they don’t have a critically important insight that you and I have. You and I, along with perhaps nearly everyone here, understands what is coming, better than professional news people who make their living at this sort of thing. None of them demonstrate a convincing understanding of the singularity concept. None that I have seen. Counter examples please?

Where can you find mainstream news which gets the concept of a near term singularity? I see discussion here and there, references on TwitterX to various mainstream news sources to the singularity, but nothing of any particular insight in the press. So… I don’t buy their product. Hell they should be buying mine and yours. I would cheerfully sell them some insight, if they come offering.

I see no clear correlation between understanding the singularity and any particular position on the traditional political spectrum. I don’t see any convincing singularity understanding anywhere in the mainstream press. I see some of it over on TwitterX, some in other social media. Awareness of, and understanding of the singularity notion is gradually increasing, but it is far from mainstream. Conclusion: when the singularity occurs, the press, which is supposed to understand these things, will be among the most surprised. But we will not be.
