OK so. AC in an electric already exists.  The innovation is in using a
high-power NVidea chip as a heater.  In general, in any EV, one wants a
heater, ja?  Well OK then, instead of just bonehead resistance heat, why not
heat the cabin with an NVidea graphics processor?  The driver experience
would be identical, the EV would do exactly the same thing.  But instead of
having a hot coil, we replace that with a high-power processor.  Then. by
the end of your trip during a cold time, you have calculated something, or
mined for a BitCoin or something.

 

The heater could be replaced with a processor in any EV.  It adds a lotta
cost, I know.  But with EVs whirring around all winter calculating rather
than heating up a nichrome coil, it just seems like a better use of energy
to calculate.
