I tried.  It bored me.  It started ok, but apart at the point were uploaded
dad plays World of Warcraft with cyber-emo daughter.

Maybe mainstream viewers' first introduction to the ideas is "cool" - but
it felt like I was being told about a story that someone overheard us
talking about 30 years ago.

Maybe I'm too harsh.  I felt similarly about Transcendence (Pantheon is
better than that,  but ... "meh")

Don't tell me a story about uploading/etc. - tell me a story about what
life becomes as a result.  (And, imo, "everybody dies" is a story that ends
before it starts)
