Well-planned preparation will prevent some from starvation.

Don’t worry, you won’t get any.

 

But there are ways to punch thru the Singularity as a bio-entity, maybe.  This is important, for an AI might be smart enough to figure out how to upload humans, but I wouldn’t bet on that either.  It requires that it is technologically possible (I think and hope it is, but might not be) and that the AI wants to do that with us (it think and hope it will, but it might not.)

 

Is it possible to punch thru the Singularity as a bio-entity?  We don’t know.  I think and hope it is, but it might not be.  My strategy: think it out, have some kind of plan, even if quite implausible (this is where I am now.)
