Easy. Is there just that one video, offered under suspicious circumstances? Not so trustworthy. Are there multiple corroborating pieces of evidence other than literally just that one video? More trustworthy.

That is, in fact, how people judge today, when it's generally known that there are deepfakes.

Ja hard to say, I haven't studied it and I don't know from AI-video. I don't follow how good it has gotten. But I will observe there are different kinds of munitions depicted in the videos. I see a mixture of incendiaries behaving in a way I don't think those really work, along with shock-wave high-explosive munitions, but those don't really look right either.

But my notion is that if narco boats are really being destroyed in international waters, neither of those types of munitions would be used. They (the vaguely mysterious unidentified "they") would take out the boats in a way which leaves not a trace of evidence, no video, no survivors, nothing spectacular, no flotsam bigger than an empty aspirin bottle found ever. The boats were just Bermuda-Triangled away in the dark of night by a UFO kind of outcome. It was a flying saucer I tells ya! But without any actual witnesses.
