That judgment on moral high ground is in the eye of the beholder and the voter. Either way, the Open-Nowers have the voter high ground, or they are betting they do, and I am very tempted to bet with them, even at 39 cents a share, owwwww…
My story about the heroin addict was a refutation of the notion that losing health insurance is a death sentence. It sure wasn’t for him, or any of the other perhaps half the people in that hospital who may have been eligible for free health insurance but never bothered to get it. They haul them back out to where the found them and toss them out on the ground with a fresh dose of heroin. Hospitals don’t do that kinda thing. They treat people the best they can. Then they struggle to figure out how to pay for it all.
