I AIed. I learned. I stilled don't know if AIed is a legitimate new word, the verb version of AI, the act of using an AI, but how better to express the idea that I consulted AI and learned?

Adrian, read on please sir.

Adrian before you even posted, I AIed and learned something pretty similar to what you said. We can't count on a good whale carcass every month to feed our little pre-nigiri tasties. We can't count on any. The risk to whales might have been a wee bit exaggerated, not that we greens ever do crap like that. Or... well OK, yes that we do, early and often, but in any case... the most common way for whales to slay themselves is not whacking into turbine towers, but rather by beaching themselves on a beach.

Estimating the cost of hauling a whale carcass out to where we could grind him and have our whale-chipper barf cetacean chips into our nigiri pen, I realized there is a better way to get this done.

Fishermen bring in their catch to the Jersey shore, take out the stuff they can sell, then sell their trash fish to fertilizer makers and cat food manufacturers. We come in a buck or two ahead of the those guys, perhaps twenty bucks to the ton, haul that stinking mess out there to the windfarm, grind it into shrimp food.

See what a prole can learn when he AIs?
