plenty of people don't really like their EVs. Evidence: consignment lots have plenty of them at good prices. New car sales are showing plenty of demand for gasoline cars, particularly high-end gasoline cars.

### Surveys show very high loyalty to the electric powertrain, over 90% of EV owners intend to buy electric again. Once you go electric, you don't go back. I would never consider switching from my Tesla back to the Vette. Gas cars are just too slow, noisy, ugly, stinky, unreliable and expensive to keep running.

Last quarter had the highest ever percentage of EV registrations in CA at 29%.

Stories of the EV "slump" are much exaggerated.

I know several who have gone back to gasoline cars. They aren’t for everyone. Granted they are popular around here, and where I live is ideally suited for electrics: distances are short, it doesn’t get too hot or cold, and there are a lot of charging stations everywhere.

I see a lot of Teslas showed up on the consignment lots when Musk did the DOGE, bumper stickers saying they bought the Tesla before Elon went crazy, etc. I considered picking up one while the prices were depressed but there is high risk of vandalism by Musk haters.
