Maybe the analogy is a little strained, but that doesn't invalidate my
point. We focus on the wrong thing, and censorship creates more problems
than it solves (if it can be said to solve any problems at all, which I
doubt).
If you take the fairly recent example of a teacher in the US declaring
the statue of David to be obscene and deciding that children shouldn't
be able to see it, you can see clearly where the problem lies. Age
verification on the internet is an extension of that kind of stupidity.
