Yep.  I understand believing in one's employer and its products, but
that took it a little far for me, which is probably why I never wound
up working for those places.  There are elements of that in certain
startups, but then, a higher percentage of those who do the work for
startups have a direct financial stake (other than "will I continue to
get this particular paycheck") in the company's success.
