Ja.  The local peaker plant went out of business because the only time it could sell its very high-priced power was so short, it couldn’t break even.  The bankruptcy buyer kept everything in place and cranked it up once in a while.  Now the natural gas plant is being repurposed to support a new data center Microsloth is building over there along SR 237.

There is a golden opportunity which might not last.  The current head of the executive branch of the US government believes in fast-tracking power generation facilities for AI.  Grab it now, for things might change in a bit over two years.  As I understand it, the emergent Democrat Socialist party is AI unfriendly and power generation unfriendly.  Build it now or build it not.
