Do let us explore that theory, shall we?  I disagree, for in my world, reality has a libertarian/moderate bias.  Let us compare news sources FoxNews with CNN, the usual poster child examples of American right vs left.  I found a US television networks metrics site:

Your notion is that FoxNews viewers are more likely to perish of covid for having refused the vaccine.  I disagree with the premise.  To quote a phrase: Our survey SAID:

Do let us flee to CNN, that paragon of medical virtue. 

In March of 2022, CNN averaged 889,000 viewers.  In June 2026, it was 622,000, for a net loss of only 267,000 viewers, again presumably from viewers following CNN’s sage medical advice.  You are correct in that FoxNews lost 276k, whereas CNN lost only 267k, if we go on audience numbers.  If we go with percentages however… CNN slew a bit over 30% of its audience, whereas FoxNews, about 11%:

Perhaps viewing CNN is nearly three times as dangerous as viewing FoxNews.  I think there is an alternative explanation however, which is more plausible than CNN’s medical advice slew nearly a third of its audience.

If you wish to find info for 2020 and 2021, that might change things.  I don’t think so, but do go ahead.

I will freely recognize that the differential decline of mainstream news audiences may have little to do with fatalities due to covid, however your contention was that:

If I were on (the most excellent) Myth Busters, I would call this notion busted.

Freedom of speech has no volume control.  You are not forced to go over on TwitterX, no one is.  Alternative social media exists, such as Blue Sky.

I caught it the first time before the vaccine was ready, before they medics even knew what it was.  They could only tell me it was clearly viral pneumonia and its genetic signature did not match anything they had seen, nor anything currently in that hospital.  I was a very early first-catcher.  It was severe indeed, resulting in a hospital stay and seven weeks of recovery time.

The subsequent two episodes were so mild as to not even be as severe as a typical seasonal flu nor endure as long, a vastly different experience from Dec 2019.  If that’s all it is now, I am quite unlikely to get that mRNA vaccine in the future.
