Note: "promote", not just "promise".  Looking at deeds rather than
words, that would lead one to vote straight-ticket Democratic (or,
where Democrats aren't even on the ballot, at least anyone other than
Republican) in most US federal elections for at least the next few
years, no matter how awful or evil one otherwise thinks any individual
Democratic candidate is.  (There are a few exceptions, but they are
rare - and often have been chased off the ballot because they put
loyalty to the country over loyalty to Trump.)
