He didn’t have a blanket pardon, as Dr. Fauci does. Dr. Fauci cannot be incriminated if he cannot be prosecuted.
>…I guess he had forgotten that in 2016, before he had become the King, Donald said “The mob takes the Fifth. If you're innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?”
Weaponized legal system John. Our legal system has been weaponized for political purposes.

>…So you're saying it was wrong for Biden to give a pardon to save a doctor from a partisan witch hunt, but it was OK for King Donald to give 1580 blanket pardons (and 14 commutations) to the traitors who were part of his unsuccessful January 6, 2021 coup d'état attempt?

Had that been a coup attempt, they would have come armed. A native American shaman with a ceremonial spear isn’t a coup attempt. It’s a demonstration or a protest.
But notice the difference between how that was handled vs the 11 June 2025 protest where rioters attempted to torch a federal building when federal employees were still in it (the senators had already evacuated the capital building by the time the protestors came in the door.)
Second example: a guy tried to set fire to a federal courthouse, also in Portland, on 13 July 2020. None of those who went to prison for the Jan 2020 riot attempted to burn down the place. The shaman didn’t destroy or damage any federal property, nor attempt to harm anyone.
Regarding partisan witch hunt: we strongly suspect Dr. Fauci funded dangerous gain of function research in Wuhan. He denies it. He cannot be prosecuted for funding that research. But many of us still suspect he did it.
