John, you don’t get it. The capital is just an office building, one with underground tunnels to allow egress in the event of exactly what happened: a riot. The white supremacist waving confederate flags were infiltrators. We know about them, for we had that kind of thing every time we had a local libertarian gathering: a coupla guys we didn’t know would show up, unfurl a nazi flag, a third guy would snap a photo, and they would be gone within a minute.
When you see stuff that is clearly theatrical, such as confederate flags (note which party was the actual Confederacy) we know what those are: infiltrators.
Regarding my concern for integrity of future elections, think over the risk if money somehow flows into registering new voters, California registers jillions of them under the (only) party in California, then millions of filled out and signed ballots come back with the other party votes, all the way down the ticket. All those seats change hands, the EC changes over to the other party (the one you don’t like.) So… now what? Does the governor claim all those newly registered voters are bogus and sends the other delegates anyway? Then what? We have an election at the national level where we really don’t know who won. Then what?
Is it so hard to see, with machine voting (still (in spite of repeated “errors” (and persistent failure to prove they cannot be hacked))) with legal ballot harvesting, with all the possible failures in California’s system, that California is low-hanging fruit for those who would steal an election? So what if they do? Then what?
