John, when you read articles like this in the mainstream press, recall that the NYT has no clearances.  They don’t know what is going on in the pentagon.

So they rely on “…Former officials” as “news” sources.  Things are changing so fast, these are useless in AI.  Former officials don’t know what is going on in the pentagon any more than the NYT does.  Claude may be good, but you can be sure that whatever they have now is better.
