My guess is that the most significant thing the current administration
did was to remove the threatened limitations on AI development.  Good
or bad, I can't say.

WRT the singularity, it is not as we envisioned.  Molecular
nanotechnology is lagging behind AI.  We might use AI to bootstrap
nanotech.  Has anyone asked them how to do it?
