*If ET thought that much slower than earthly meat machines then I don't
think they would've had time to have invented even a primitive radio. Life
first appeared on the Earth about 4 billion years ago and it couldn't have
started anywhere in the universe more than a few billion years before that
because there would not have been enough time for stars to make heavy
elements that are essential for life, like carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and
phosphorus.  And human thinking is glacially slow compared to an electronic
AI, so if ET thought glacially slowly even compared to us then even if they
had somehow managed to make a radio I don't think ET would have anything
interesting to say. *
