Destruction is easy, and easily explained and depicted.  One can see a
ruin and recognize that it is a ruin with no words needed.

Construction is nuanced, often requiring detailed explanations that do
not translate well outside of the written word.  Is a building that is
just sitting there, abandoned and desolate or working as designed?
The active process of construction is just that - active - and thus
takes much more effort and screen time to depict than a single image
of something that has been wrecked.
