For USians, it is very clear that the US government cannot balance its budget and is no longer trying.  We must be prepared for catastrophic scenarios such as AI doesn’t kill us all.  In that case, the US government will either default or print fake money.  If one holds BitCoin, one still has money, regardless of where one goes on the planet.
