*Until yesterday AI had been a three-man race between Anthropic, Open AI,
and the Chinese. Late last year Google had been #1 but time marches on and
Google seemed to be in a holding pattern while their competitor's AI's kept
getting better and better, and they became an also-ran. But that all
changed yesterday. Probably. It's a bit too early to know for sure how well
it will work in real world applications but apparently Google is back. *
