Have you filled up your vehicle recently? Do you have any idea of what the
rise in diesel prices is doing to the cost of food?

Two days ago, the woman in front of us at the checkout stand had to send
back about half of the pitiful collection she had in her basket because she
did not have enough dollar bills. I did not understand what was going on
till it was too late. I feel guilty for not covering her shortage. No doubt
her kids went hungry that day.

For you and me, the increasing price of food is not a problem. That is not
the case for a lot of people. The direct and indirect costs of the war fall
on those who can least afford it.
