That makes no sense, by definition the Democratic vote are the people that voted for the Democratic candidate, and the Republic vote are the people that voted for the Republic candidate….

Granted I could have stated that more clearly. Not all those who traditionally vote democrat voted for the democrat party candidate in 2016, 2020, or 2024. I wish to know why. You suggested mesmerizing personality, which is laughable. The winner in 2016 and 2024 is not personally popular. Even his hardcore supporters do not find him one who would be their friend. But a president isn’t a friend. He can be a personally repulsive type and still be effective. He can be a good person (such as Jimmy Carter) but be very ineffective as a president.

Of course. But isn’t how that analysis is done. If the Libertarian Party agreed to not support their own party, then they would have split in such a way as to not have any impact on the outcome of any election other than 2000. The Libertarian vote tipped the 2000 election probably.

THAT’s IT! You hit it John. Everyone other than you is just too stupid. Such insight.

OK, so libertarians are stupid hypocrites you say. And yet… you still don’t know why the hell your favorite party lost to a very unpopular former POTUS. Adrian figured it out, but I don’t think the democrat party has accepted it. I didn’t even see it in the list of factors in the post-mortem. If they don’t figure out why they lost what should have been an easy layup in 24, they will lose to either JD Vance or Rubio in 28.

How do you know? We don’t.
