If there were three parties, as in Britain, two can form a coalition to get rid of the guy from the third party. With a binary party system, each of the two parties becomes a coalition and both evolve to stay about the same size.

The democrat party has two factions in particular which will never work together under any circumstances. One or the other faction must be cut loose. But both tend to vote in unison, which makes them valuable.
You're saying that the whole concept of impeachment is pointless.
I didn't know (and I wonder why it even exists, if it's so pointless).
Fine, we can scratch that as a way of getting rid of him, then.
What does that leave? It looks increasingly that his death, via natural or unnatural causes, remains the only option, unless you want to wait another two years and hope against hope that he won't find a way to continue as president, or become dictator, after 2028.
