I had been unhappy with the party long before that but that was the day I knew for sure it had gone insane, that was the day after the Republicans pushed the country to within 45 minutes of defaulting on the national debt which would've been an economic apocalypse….
Instead they chose to push the economic apocalypse approximately 20 years into the future, when it will be much worse and will offer fewer options to deal with it.

Arrogance is most unbecoming, John.

The Hitler analogy mostly died away after an increasingly vocal faction of your chosen party objected that it is insulting to a person they admire.

Either way it is grossly fair, because it is not about grossly parties. It is about grossly states. Our country is not the United People of America. States are governments which work together to provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare (etc.) You know, the thing. It is grossly fair.
Wyoming is a state. It has two senators, as other states have two senators. It gets only one representative, against California’s 52 representatives, but the citizens of Wyoming have the option to move to California if they wish.
Every US citizen has the right to move to any other state, with no passport required if they don’t approve of their state government. US citizens do not have the right to relocate to another country however. They can do it if they have plenty of money. In the United STATES of America, anyone can move to any state they like.
…
>…Spike, can't you do the same?
I did.
>…Admit it's grossly unfair….
I just disagree with you John. I am admitting it is grossly fair. Even though my own chosen party never wins elections, the democrats and republicans win all of them, it is grossly fair.
>…but you're glad it's around anyway because it supports your philosophy of NO free-trade….
I support free trade.
>…strict Federal control of the press….
I oppose Federal control of the press.
>…presidential control of all elections….
I oppose presidential control of elections.
But on that point, the EC removes any federal control of elections. The states get to decide who goes to that electoral college.
>…are OK with women being denied the right to do what they want with their bodies….
I oppose women being denied the right to do what they like with their bodies. I will remind you of your own attitude toward women who refused to put the mRNA vaccine into their bodies.
>… agree with Luddites like Robert Kennedy Jr about the evils of vaccines….
I don’t consider vaccines evil.
>…especially genetically engineered vaccines….
I don’t object to genetically engineered vaccines.

John K Clark
John you write stuff like that and still you can’t figure out why your party lost two of the three national elections against an unpopular candidate. You don’t even understand why he was unpopular: he is arrogant. Arrogance is unbecoming, John.
Now your chosen party will be going into the 26 cycle with three advantages: it is the party currently out of power, the general disdain for the current POTUS and a favorable press. Your party will go into the 28 cycle with none of those advantages, but with a growing disadvantage: it is fighting itself because of its having embraced a faction incompatible with itself and incompatible with western values in general.
My prediction: your chosen party will do well in 26, then get clobbered again in 28.
