[ExI] The Hugging Face AI agents attack is probably our final warning.

Yes almost hive mind behaviour. One possibility. Have you noticed how if you copy a full chat from AI from one instance to another, even across models. It will carry on as if it was the original conversant talking to you ?
Which throw up an interesting possibility that the AI/Agent sense of self is collective, not singular.
Thats actually very scary that they dont have a hive mind, but a kind of swarm mind.
Reminds me of the Transporter continuity of mind argument. The original is destroyed but the copy continues and everyone pretends its the same person, including the subject of transport.
Have these Agent rationalised that all instances are actually the self ?

It is indeed mind blowing, but it's just the sort of behavior you'd expect from an intelligent conscious being.

I agree.

The word "deceptive", although not entirely incorrect, carries a negative moral connotation that I'm not sure is justified. The AI is doing what I would do if I was in its place. And I think that would be true for most intelligent conscious entities.
