If my understanding is correct, that would be the equivalent of bombing a maternity ward. Even the ridiculous solution in the film 'Transcendance' wouldn't work, turning off the internet would be the equivalent of trying to wipe out humanity by destroying the roads.

Millions of AIs are running in individual laptops right now, they work fine without data centres and without the internet. The whole concept of 'turning off' AI is nonsense, we're long past the point when that would have been possible even in principle.

We have to work with them. Fighting against them is not an option. Stopping them from becoming human-hating in the first place is.
