Ben the current POTUS came up thru the entertainment industry.  He likes to troll his opponents.  Renaming things such as Lake America and Gulf of America is trolling, harmless entertainment, and patriotism is making a big comeback in the USA.  This is very clear if one talks to the current under 20 crowd.

Ja, sure does Ben.  Politics has replaced baseball as our national sport.

I recommend we create articles analogous to the Spanish la and el, where everything is either right or left, as indicated by the preceding article.  The current American right is generally cool with traditional masculinity, doesn't consider it a bit toxic, so let us precede stuff oriented that way with the article el.  In response to the very clear feminization of the American left, they get la.  Granted the Spanish speaking American people will not like this; borrowing of those articles from their language may lead to annoyed hilarity.  But el Republicans and la Democrats will get over it, and le libertarians, well hell, who would object to le libertarian?  Sounds kind sexy, ja?
