It's probably not easy, BUT, I understand you can set up some of the
open source Chinese models on a local machine and avoid all the data
harvesting and privacy issues you are worried about Ben. Kimmy is one
of the better ones as I currently understand it. People even set up
open claw type stuff on independent hardware. I'm not sure if you have
to buy any special hardware.

It would probably be easier to use incognito mode or a VPN to log into
one of the big engines with a fake profile.
