Ben, the Democrat Socialists are socialists. They are not getting along
with the current Democrat party. I can easily imagine a mutual agreement to
drop the Democrat part of their name soon. Two good examples currently are
mayors: Mayor Mamdani in New York City and Mayor Katie Wilson of Seattle.

I do heartily encourage these leaders to turn their cities into socialist
government structures, for it is I who observed on this list that there is
no legal reason why US states cannot become socialist, no reason why
counties and cities cannot be socialist. I found it odd that of fifty
states, 3244 counties, about 20,000 cities and town, none of them had become
socialist. So... why not? Some government at one of those levels (not
where I live, but elsewhere) should go socialist. Let us see how it works.
Let us see people experience the warm embrace of socialism. Let us see if
the Democrat Socialist Mayor Mamdani can demonstrate how New York City
escapes the frigidity of rugged individualism, to embrace the warmth of
collectivism.

We are watching, and actually hoping he succeeds. I do mean that.
