John every one of your posts on this topic demonstrates that you don’t know what you don’t know. What you don’t know is by careful design, which is what the military classification system is all about. They not only arrange for you to not know, they arrange for you to not know what you do not know.

Regarding your notion of subtraction, that is all about the Patriot and THAAD systems. That isn’t all there is however. It is just all we know about. Those systems are built complete at a contractor facility. But some systems are built by having subcontractors build subsystems, with another organization doing the final integration. Do you know how many of those other organizations we have, or what those other organizations are? You don’t know? Why don’t you know? Do you know you don’t know? Or will you continue assuming Grok knows everything?

Patriot missiles aren’t everything. Many of them are outdated and need to be fired at something, to make room in the storage facilities for other systems.

>…if China decides to invade Taiwan during the next 7 years…

So, why didn’t China invade? Patriot missiles would have little or no role in such a conflict. THAAD missiles would have little or no role in that.

> Grok has no security clearance.

>…True but Grok is the AI made by Elon Musk's company, and Musk is King Donald's best friend (after Jeffrey Epstein of course)….

Irrelevant. As far as I know, Musk was not cleared to know military strength info. But if he was, he could not tell Grok about it without losing that clearance. What about the other AIs? Do they know? Do they know they don’t know?

>…They could rely on the Strait of Hormuz before the start of the Idiots War, but not after….

The oil exporting countries were using the Strait of Hormuz, but they could never rely on the Strait of Hormuz. It was always vulnerable, both to land-based missiles and floating mines. Once the strait is closed, alternatives become the reliable means of moving oil. Once those alternate means of carrying oil are fully established, they don’t need the strait anymore. The risk does not justify the savings.

> But they can rely on roads and trucks.

>…They can rely on a new road constructed while under constant attacks by Iranian drones and missiles capable of handling 105,000 tanker trucks one way each day? I don't think so….

I do. As soon as Iran starts an actual war with Saudi Arabia by firing upon Saudi Arabian oil trucks, the game changes dramatically. Iran really doesn’t want to start a war with Saudi Arabia, considering the Saudis could still export oil, but Iran could not. Saudi Arabia has access to American made weapon systems, Iran does not.

Imagine Iran simultaneously starts it with all the other countries west of the Strait of Hormuz. Do feel free to ask Grok what would happen next. But before you do that, bring up a map of the Middle East, and ask yourself if you think Iran will fire upon oil trucks on highways in all its neighboring countries. THEN ask Grok.

>…King Donald could try firebombing Tehran like what happened to Tokyo during the Second World War… John K Clark

I would speculate on a series of nukes dropped on that uranium refinement facility in Iran. That would be a bad thing. It would not be the USA doing the bombing however. Iranian leadership has repeatedly indicated it intended to develop nuclear weapons primarily against Israel. Israel has nukes.

Regarding firebombing Tehran, that might be something Saudi Arabia would do, if sufficiently provoked. Either way, the USA role would be a naval blockade of the strait, while Israel pounds away at the uranium site and six oil exporting countries west of the strait do stuff like firebomb Tehran. It would be a bad thing.
