Interesting article. Does anyone have an idea of how to email the author?

Using AIs to solve real world problems takes common sense that AIs don't
really have yet. An example is the SolarSyngas project. Most gasification
uses oxygen and burns a substantial fraction of the feed stock. It took a
lot of effort to convince the AIs that the idea was to use curtailed
renewable power for the heat. The AI produced drawing of the gasifier put
the slag layer under the melted iron. Again, lack of common sense.
