I worry a lot less now than I used to, I will grant you that.  It reduces my concern about runaway debt just knowing that AI might kill everybody.

 

In today’s news I see the head of the US executive branch, whose name escapes me at the moment, is forming a new AI Force, which is military.  It focuses on supporting aligned AI development.  First thing I thought of is: Oh yeah?  So how are we going to pay for that?
