The Austrian objection is that labor is not the primary vehicle through which wealth is created (that is smuggling a labor theory of value, tsk tsk, Gemini! but I know it was drawn that way).

Wealth is created through the coordination of dispersed KNOWLEDGE, capital, resources, entrepreneurial energy, and consumer preferences through the price system. Labor is just one input to that structure of production. AI therefore matters economically not merely because it will displace labor (although that will inevitably produce local tragedies), but because it injects enormous amounts of economically useful knowledge into that coordinating system -- potentially changing productivity, relative scarcities, and prices of things like labor and bonds.

Industrial machinery injected a massive new capacity into the structure of production, forcing huge labor reallocation -- and the result was (eventual) widespread prosperity. AI is a massive supply shock of knowledge, and yes, that will likewise force labor reallocation, but it will also profoundly improve productive capacity.
