Ja, ignoring the court order would be too much like opening the border.

 

Apparently the security staff hadn’t gotten their orders.  But the news people are back now in any case.

 

It brings up a new question: who is entitled to press credentials?  We have seen 2/3 of CNN’s audience go away, half of MSNOW’s audience in the past 6 years, all while over 1000 proles on TwitterX surpass the number of followers of those two outfits combined.  So can the TwitterXers now claim they have the right to access the WH?  I don’t see why not.
