environmentalists (I have many more), they assume that "climate change"
and  "climate deterioration" are always synonymous, but that's not true
because weather is complex so there are subtleties. **Sometimes the change
can be beneficial and sometimes, as in this case, it is ambiguous; fewer
hurricanes for the Atlantic but more for the Pacific, and a continuation of
the 25 year old drought in the American southwest.  *
