I would be honored and pleased to assist with your project. Over the
last few months, I have grown increasingly irked with the WTA, and
specifically with Dr. Hughes' style of management. His latest rather
rude dismissal of your offer to discuss the "are you a Transhumanist?"
flyer is indicative of the source of my concerns. I would welcome the
opportunity to help you in a >H project (how I hate the current
trend to say "H+" to make it somehow "friendlier") unconnected with the
WTA. <br>

As far as your criteria go, not only did I major in history in college,
but one of my first jobs out of the Air Force was as a researcher for
an economic development consulting firm. I am well acquainted with
various techniques for research, and have had cause to continually
apply them through the current day. I am not acquainted with Vensim,
but I used to teach Excel and Visio, and use Excel extensively in my
current job. Our PhD in Statistics comes to me when he has an Excel
question. ;-)<br>

I have designed numerous web sites, including (but not limited to)
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.humanenhancement.com">http://www.humanenhancement.com</a>. I am a published author of both
fiction and non-fiction, and co-authored a textbook on how to use OS/2
without a mouse for a client during my stint as a computer software
instructor. <br>

I would hope you would already be acquainted with my creative thinking,
and I think the interdisciplinary nature of my training, skills, and
knowledge would shine through. If not, consider my thumbnail resume:
degree in medieval history, flew a desk in the Air Force, computer
instructor, researcher, IT manager (three times), opinion poll writer,
writer... and that's just what I got paid for. <br>
