Tom Hanks' latest space odyssey, Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the
Moon 3D, will be released by Imax in September. Hanks, who starred in
the 1995 white-knuckle feature Apollo 13 and produced and narrated
HBO's acclaimed miniseries From the Earth to the Moon, is coproducer
and narrator of this 3-D re-creation of six lunar landings. "This is a
movie about the world's greatest road trip," he told the crew. "We're
going to put people up there with them."
