<div>As noted, sodium nitrite to reduce male libido is a myth. On the
other hand, amyl nitrite IS used to deflate an undesired erection. It
is inhaled by those who have circumsisions as adults. It acts by
dropping the blood pressure dramatically resulting in dizziness, and
fainting if taken in excess...not something they could put in a guy's
food.</div>
