Quoting David Lubkin <lubkin@unreasonable.com>:

> No one
has mentioned the feminist take on high heels. That they're
> of a kind
with the many other fashions across history and the world
> that appear
designed to -- metaphorically or literally -- hobble women.

Feminists
are not all mathematicians, scientists, and engineers. Many feminists are
designers, authors, actors, and other types of artists. Many feminists are
mothers. Many feminists are lovers.

High heels do not hobble women. Not
all women are the same. Some women walk better in heels, others not.

The
feminists approach would not emphasize what a woman's job, her skill-set, or
what type of shoe she wears. She would emphasize the level of clarity a woman
has in her thinking and in the choices she makes for her life based on your
beliefs.

Natasha
