I have asked a doctor about changing from naproxen to curcumin (very successfully I will add), and about other supplements, and he knows way less than I do. I know people who are successfully treating their blood pressure with Hawthorne (no, not the books!), and pain with CBD opium extract, depression or anxiety with a multitude of possibilities, stings with papain (meat tenderizer) and I have many other examples of treatment with otc stuff. So ask me! Just about none of these have bad side effects, and some are truly crazy-sounding, like putting soap under your top sheet for leg cramps, and mustard and soy sauce on burns, and many more.
