Now that doesn't seem to be the case at all. Add that to limits of attention and I think you get what you see: people filtering out 'noise' and attending mainly to stuff that reinforces their worldview. I do not understand why those results are still all over the map. In a sense I suppose that conflicts with my world view as well: I just expect a bit more consistency, at least in the death statistics.
