John, the way I see it is that whoever that hypothetical different <br>
person would be, they wouldn't be you. That's my answer whenever I'm <br>
asked if I ever regret anything I've done in my life. If I had done <br>
things differently, I would have turned out different, and that <br>
different person wouldn't be who I am now.<br>
<br>
No regrets, either about what you did or how you came to be. Be thankful <br>
(to yourself) to have turned out as you.<br>

I'm not, of course, saying don't strive to better yourself (that would, <br>
on this list, be blasphemy :-D ), just don't have any bad feelings about <br>
things in the past.<br>
