<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:comic sans ms,sans-serif;font-size:large;color:#000000">For nursing home patients, you would give them a questionnaire and find out their interests outside the home (you might want to stay away from things they can no longer do: cooking, gardening). Then scan the web for news of that sort and have the bot bring it up conversationally. For some people that would contain a lot of information to discuss. The bot could search during conversations for reactions in Facebook ,Twitter etc. - polls, maybe, telling what people think. Of course you would load it with family info and pictures so they could look at their family anytime they wanted. That's a good start, I think. bill w</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Fri, Jan 1, 2021 at 2:50 PM spike jones via extropy-chat <<a href="mailto:extropy-chat@lists.extropy.org">extropy-chat@lists.extropy.org</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div lang="EN-US" style="overflow-wrap: break-word;"><div class="gmail-m_2673109572060581671WordSection1"><p class="MsoNormal"><u></u> <u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal"><u></u> <u></u></p><div style="border-right:none;border-bottom:none;border-left:none;border-top:1pt solid rgb(225,225,225);padding:3pt 0in 0in"><p class="MsoNormal"><b>From:</b> extropy-chat <<a href="mailto:extropy-chat-bounces@lists.extropy.org" target="_blank">extropy-chat-bounces@lists.extropy.org</a>> <b>On Behalf Of </b>Mike Dougherty via extropy-chat<br><br><b><u></u><u></u></b></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b><u></u> <u></u></b></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b><u></u> <u></u></b></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b>Cool thanks for the ideas Mike.<u></u><u></u></b></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b><u></u> <u></u></b></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b>>…</b>covid lockdown of the facility, my mom was not allowed entry so was unable to properly monitor supplies or laundry etc…<u></u><u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal"><u></u> <u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal">Doh!
