Consider his biggest roles: a murderous crazy in The Shining, a recovering “crazy fuck” in As Good As It Gets, a criminal crazy in Batman, a kinda crazy in Easy Rider, an ambiguously crazy criminal in One Flew Over the Cucoo’s Nest.
