There's nothing wrong with a good hamburger, full stop. It's the bun
that comes with it that does the damage. And the chips ('french
fries' if you live in the colonies).<br>

Constantly bombarding your body with carbs leads to obesity and
insulin resistance, which leads to type II diabetes which leads to
death.<br>
<br>
Protein and fat (hamburgers!) are satiating, carbs aren't. Most
people would lose weight rapidly (and get off the insulin
rollercoaster) if they just ate hamburgers.<br>
<br>
You know how there are essential amino acids, and essential fatty
acids? There's no such thing as essential carbohydrates. Eskimos are
testament to that.<br>
