Ja.  It will apparently require super-human intelligence to figure out how to de-age the human population.  AI is not incentivized to do that, even if it knows how.<br>

The above is a variation on the AI-will-kill-us-all theme.  AI would do nothing and let us die of natural causes.  Doing nothing is the most common response to the train-switch dilemma.<br>
